M &S Ireland Looking to Fill 440 Seasonal Roles this Christmas

Marks & Spencer Ireland said today that it's aiming to recruit 440 extra employees for Christmas this year. The retailer said that it is planning to take on an extra 20,000 employees across its UK and Republic of Ireland stores this Christmas – 5,000 more than last year.The company is seeking to fill customer assistant, M&S Café assistant and store operation roles throughout its 21 &S stores in the Republic of Ireland. All new recruits will take part in a two-day induction training session. As part of the reward package, the recruits will receive a 20pc discount on M&S products.

"We want to make sure that our customer needs are met so we're putting the call out for 20,000 passionate, service-centred recruits to come join the team and help make it a merry Christmas for millions of M&S shoppers," said Steve Rowe, director of retail at M&S.
