Greenmount Garden "Flowers & Food" Open Weekend

The gardens at Greenmount Campus, Antrim which include the fantastic Richardsons Walled Garden will be open to the public on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 August. The Greenmount Association Floristry Club will be demonstrating “Alfresco” – a series of floral designs created to enhance summer garden parties and BBQs. Staff from Loughry Campus will be present at Greenmount to let you taste a chocolate cake with a difference.

Visitors can also sample beer which was produced at a Loughry craft brewing course. Tea, coffee and snacks will be available in the garden. A quartet from the Ulster Youth Orchestra will be performing in the garden on the Sunday. All in all, flowers, food and music - three further reasons to visit one of Northern Ireland’s premier walled gardens. So why not come along? You can also enjoy the extensive and attractive campus grounds and wander or picnic on the Greenmount Nature Trail.

Horticultural staff will be on hand over the weekend to answer gardening questions or advise on horticultural courses at Greenmount.

The opening times at Greenmount Garden in Antrim are 10:30am-5pm on Saturday 18 and 1:00pm- 6 pm on Sunday 19 August. Last admission is one hour before close. Admission is £5 per car.
