Interflora’s Strawberry Tea Party

Recently, Interflora HQ was transformed into a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party for the day in support of Breast Cancer Care’s Strawberry Tea event. Every summer Breast Cancer Care asks their supporters to get baking and host a Strawberry Tea to raise money for people living with breast cancer. Activities during the day included a bake off, fancy dress competition and various raffles- with all proceeds going to the charity. In total the event raised £153.99 for Breast Cancer Care.

Interflora

Providing emotional support and information services, Breast Cancer Care is there for anyone affected by breast cancer. It’s a cause that we’ve been supporting since September 2005 and to date we’ve raised more than £650,000 for the charity.

If you want to hold your own Strawberry Tea Party, there’s still plenty of time. All you need to do to take part is get together with your friends and family, buy or bake some cakes, add some strawberries, put the kettle on and away you go. And it doesn’t matter if you raise £20 or £200 at your Strawberry Tea because every penny will help the charity support the 50,000 people diagnosed with breast cancer each year.
