Ireland's Future: A People's Forum, is a residential weekend 'retreat' forum being held in Co.Clare, for motivated, concerned individuals from all over the country to gather and work together on viable solutions for reclaiming Ireland's future.
The idea came about when Richard Moore, author of "Escaping The Matrix: How We The People Can Change The World, gave a talk to Cork-based group, Awaken Ireland. His ideas for creating a sustainable, alternative, sovereign economy and community from the ground-up, touched a chord. Some of his ideas, combined with the shared dissatisfaction at the current state of the country and its economy (incl the banking scam/crisis, political failings, selling off of our natural resources, etc.) led to the plan for a nationwide forum to see what the people of Ireland can do to reclaim power and change their future for the better.
It’s important to get the word out as widely as possible among community networks across the country... They will have representatives from all different sectors, regions and skill-bases, and excellent professional facilitators throughout the weekend to ensure that realistic, creative & constructive solutions are reached.
