Economics of Organic Farming and Marketing Opportunities – Coolanowle November 25th at 12 noon If you are interested in organic farming come along and find out what it is really like to farm organically.

Arrival at the farm from 12pm onwards, lunch will be served at 12.20pm prompt.

1.15 – 2pm Farm walk looking at dairy, beef and tillage production on the farm

2.00pm – Seminar on the Economics of Organic Production and Market Opportunities

Presentations by;

John Purcell Goodherdsmen, Rory Fanning Slaney Meats, Organic Unit Department of Agriculture and the Marine, Trevor Harris Organic Tillage, and Elaine Leavy Teagasc – Profitability on organic farms

Presentations will be followed by a questions and answers session.
