Abstract: Tenders are invited by for the purchase of the following new equipment. Equipment delivered to our premises at Garrymore, Ballinagh, Co Cavan This invitation to tender is subject to grant aid being secured for purchase of the lot contained in this tender document. Tenders must be returned by the appointed date and time, extensions will not be allowed. Tenderers are reminded that the lowest or any tender may not be accepted nor will the client pay the expenses or losses, which may be incurred by any tenderer in the preparation of the tender. This tender is being posted in support of an application for capital grant aid from Cavan Monaghan LEADER under the Rural Development Programme for Ireland 2007-2013. The subsequent award of contract will be subject to the necessary finance being secured. Tendering parties may quote for LOT 1 and/or LOT 2. If tendering for both lots please ensure that you price each LOT separately. We reserve the right to proceed with one element only in the event that finance is not available or both lots, or an suitable supplier is not found. Equipment Specification LOT 1 Chipper Specification - Tractor PTO driven Drum wood chipper - Output capacity approx 40 cubic meters per hour dry material or 12t green material. - Capable of handling logs 270mm / 280mm. - Conveyor assisted infeed table. - Chipper to be mounted on chassis with a braked trailing axle. - Horsepower requirement 150 - 190hp - Chipper to be supplied with 3 sets of blades. - Max weight 4000kg. LOT 2 Crane Specification - Crane to be mounted on tractor 3 point linkage. - Crane reach 6 / 7 mtrs. - Lifting capacity of approx 750kg @ 4mtrs. - Crane weight approx 1000kg. - Crane to be supplied with Grapple & Continuous rotator. - Crane to be supplied with fold down support legs.
