Developing the market for cut flowers will be the central theme of the inaugural HDC and National Cut Flower Centre conference, to be held later this month.
The much-anticipated event, which will be staged at Springfields Gardens in Spalding will see keynote speaker Professor John Dole of North Carolina State University offering an insight into how the USA National Cut Flowers trials programme operates and what the current trends are in the USA market.
The impressive programme also includes presentations from the likes of Sainsburys Robert Honeysett, who will focus on the retail market for cut flowers and meeting customer demands, and British Florist Association Director Paul Drabble, who will cover promoting the market for UK cut flowers. HDC Director Bill Parker will also give an overview of the future strategic direction of the organisation.
The all-day event concludes with a barbecue, offering delegates the ideal opportunity to network and discuss the key themes of the day.
