eCommerce Funding Now Open

South and East Cork business can now apply for financing to create and develop an eCommerce website, following the establishment of a grant with the South and East Cork Area Development (SECAD).

The grant for eCommerce will be available to local companies working in the food, craft and tourism sectors. The grant will also apply to those involved in co-operative projects that have potential to generate economic activity and employment in the region.

Upwards of 50 per cent of funding for the websites may be provided by SECAD, following approval of the proposals.

“SECAD works with small businesses in South and East Cork, and our aim is to provide funding to enable these businesses to attract new customers and generate online revenues through these eCommerce website grants” said SECAD CEO Ryan Howard.
