ILI GLVIA3 Seminar - November 2016: Guidelines for Landscape & Visual Impact Assessment
As the Guidelines for best practice in Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment evolve in line with new development, so the training needs of LVIA practitioners change over time. On November 17th, 2016, ILI will run a one-day seminar with a specific focus on new revisions to the GLVIA, from 2013 to date.

Teagasc 2025 Roadmaps Published
Teagasc has published a set of 2025 sectoral roadmaps. The nine road maps cover suckler beef, dairy, sheep, pigs, tillage, forestry, horticulture, environment and food. Each roadmap outlines the anticipated key market and policy issues likely to face the sector out to 2025, along with the expected size and shape of the individual sectors.

Help Design the Irish Independent 1916 Commemoration Garden at Bloom
The Irish Independent, in conjunction with Bord Bia, is inviting readers to help design a 1916 Commemoration Garden at Bloom this year. This specially-commissioned garden will be brought to life by renowned garden-designer Fiann O’Nualláin.

The Evolution of Corporate Social Responsibility to Creating Shared Value
In 2006 Michael Porter and Mark Kramer wrote the paper Strategy and society, the link between competitive advantage and corporate social responsibility. They outlined that most companies did not integrate their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities into their core competencies, which lead to CSR fulfilling an ad hoc role in response to issues highlighted by an external party, usually a NGO.
