ITB Promoting Horticulture to Young Students at Scifest Event

SciFest is a one day event showcasing Science and Technology and Intel are the main sponsors. It is an exhibition of projects and a competition for students in different Science and Technology categories. It is considered a precursor to the BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition.

We have about 4 horticulture related projects and Gaelscoil Chill Dara won 1st prize in the Intermediate Life Sciences Category for their Project entitled ‘The Effects of Mycorrhiza on Tree Root Growth’
