When you work with Information Technology as much as we do, the learning is usually done by making mistakes, discovering them and fixing them before anyone else notices. We are in the process of moving to a new service provider for our newsletter and its been a bit of a nightmare so far, as any of you who clicked on the link we sent last Friday for the Sign-up Form to get a free Copy of New Magazine HORTICULTURE CONNECTED will have noticed. P.S. It works now!
So sorry to anyone who thought that they were going mad, because they could not see the link that was so obvious, that it was'nt added in the first place. It cost us dearly. Over 40 Unsubscribes and worse still 4 were complaints. Anyway we promise to try harder and we will take a valuable lesson from it. Respect Our Customers Online Time Equally as If They Were Sitting In Front of Us.
We are not out of the woods yet so its back to work to make sure it never happens again until the next time! Lots of news below as usual and if you have something that you think is newsworthy then please do send it in too.
