Coillte are recruiting active, enthusiastic and committed walkers, hikers and outdoor enthusiasts to form a volunteer Ranger Team between Guagán Barra and Farran Forest Parks in Co. Cork.
Did you know that Coillte has over 18 million visits to its forests every year?
The Volunteer Ranger Service will help to improve the visitor experience through the provision of information on the various trails, leading walks, being a visible presence in the Park and assisting the public in appreciating the great outdoors through communication and education.
Coillte will train Volunteer Rangers in a broad range of outdoor skills ranging from the leave no trace message to navigation, conservation and first aid.
